Submissions (Strangulations, Asphyxiations, and Locks), will abide to the following ordering system
A Taxonomic Tree to be broken down by two distinct Hierarchies of Ordering
The First, and Highest Hierarchy of Order:
The Intended Target of Attack - ITA
What Tori's submission is threatening (Body part)
The Second Order, the major difference in Wedge Configuration (with what limbs Tori uses to isolate and attack Uke)
Alias: Submissions go by various names, some of these names lend to distinction, AKA Variants, others do not. I give credence to these names, as historically they may be used parlance in Submission Grappling, with significance to etymology, and the current "zeitgeist". Ultimately naming convention is secondary to the Taxonomic Tree that I am constructing, which I feel will be more useful to the practitioner, as it is revealed to me, terms like Neck Tie, and Guillotine have limited definition criterion, subsequently such naming conventions will be delegated between Variant and Alias.
Variant: A move that has the same Intended Target of Attack, with a potentially different Wedge Configuration, but from my subjective determination, have rendered not substantial enough to resolve to it's own Secondary Ordering.
