Strangulations
First Ordering: Intended Target of Attack [Neck]
Alias:
Choke
, Constrict
, Compress
Effectiveness: Highest
One of the three mechanisms of submissions, Strangles work by Constriction/Compression against the outside of the Uke's neck. When blood flow to the neck is significantly restricted, the brain responds by turning off the conscious part of the brain, rendering Uke to sleep. I am unaware of exact durations that result in unconsciousness, but as an approximation a well applied strangle will take between 5-15 seconds of uninterrupted constriction to cause unconsciousness, in the time frame of 30 seconds to one minute, it is possible for involuntary breathing to cease. If involuntary breathing does not resume, IMMEDIATE LIFE SAVING MEASURES MUST BE TAKEN. Approximately 4-5 minutes without breathing will result in permanent brain damage, and a high probability of ☠️DEATH ☠️.
Andrew's Notes: WARNING, Strangles are lethal if held for a consecutive duration, Tori must utilize the utmost care when applying a strangle. Should Uke lose consciousness at any point in time, Tori must immediately release the strangle, while securing Uke's body safely, Uke will be completely vulnerable and unable to protect themselves from further harm. If involuntary automated respiration does resume, MMEDIATE LIFE SAVING MEASURES MUST BE TAKEN, INCLUDING CPR AND RESCUE BREATHES, OR ☠️ UKE's DEATH IS IMMINENT ☠️.
Constrictions require minimally two forces, one to either their or push, and the other to pull. They will be divided by the means of constriction.
